Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. in Poland is seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer to develop firmware for wired and wireless security devices, focusing on secure connectivity, RTOS/Linux embedded systems, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You will work on STM32 devices, RS485, secure boot/update concepts, and participate in product lifecycle from concept to mass production, with relocation support to Gdańsk.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing firmware for embedded systems.
• Strong C programming skills and experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers.
• Experience with bare-metal or RTOS-based embedded development and debugging.
• Understanding of embedded interfaces and protocols and Git workflows.
• Good English written and verbal communication; cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware in C for wired and wireless security devices, focusing on reliability and performance.
• Implement secure device communication and firmware update mechanisms.
• Work on bare-metal, RTOS-based and Linux embedded systems; participate in design discussions.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and perform root-cause analysis with standard tools.
• Collaborate with Hardware, QA, Product Management, Compliance, and Cybersecurity teams.
