Job summary

Luxoft Poland seeks a talented DevOps Engineer for Embedded Software to join our video collaboration team in Kraków. You will work with developers and ML researchers to enable fast, reliable delivery of embedded C/C++ software.

Responsibilities include building CI/CD pipelines, releasing candidates, test automation, and collaboration across firmware, software, QA, and product teams. You will participate in daily standups and sprint planning to drive development velocity.

Qualifications

• C/C++, Python, and Bash
• Hands-on experience with embedded systems development
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Jenkins
• Testing: Test automation frameworks and tools
• Build Systems: Android build systems, Yocto (embedded Linux), Cmake, Make
• Infrastructure: Docker and containerization
• Project Management: Jira and related tracking tools

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI and release build processes.
• Develop and maintain CI-hosted automated verification and validation (V&V).
• Testing methods for domain-specific quality checks.
• Collaborate with domain experts to ensure release build quality.
• Implement and deploy CI systems and build pipelines across the projects.
• Update and maintain build definitions as new components or product variants are introduced.
• Review and merge pull requests related to build scripts, CI configurations, and automation tooling.
• Implement automated CI test methods using C/C++, Bash, and Python.
• Write test cases in C/C++, Bash, and Python.
• Tag, package, and coordinate release candidates for embedded C/C++.
• Partner with firmware, software, QA, and product teams on CI requirements.
• Align build/release workflows with team practices.
• Liaise between DevOps and embedded teams to translate release goals into pipelines.
• Align branching, versioning, release cadences across components.
