Job summary
KEARNY PUBLIC SCHOOLS is seeking Elementary Special Education teachers for the 2026/2027 school year to join a dedicated team at the elementary level. The positions report to the Director of Special Services, Principal or designee and will work within the KEA contract salary framework.
Applicants must hold or be eligible for Elementary School K-6 certification and Teacher of Students with Disabilities certification; certification as Teacher of the Handicapped is eligible as well.
Qualifications
- Must hold or be eligible for Elementary School K-6 certification (endorsement 1001).
- Must hold or be eligible for Teacher of Students with Disabilities certification (endorsement 2475).
- Teacher of the Handicapped certification is eligible as well.
