Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an Electronics Design Engineer to join a growing technology manufacturer. Relocation to Norwich is required, with a strong pipeline of new products and hands-on design from schematic to board manufacture.

You will design schematics and multilayer PCBs, build and test prototypes, and collaborate across analog, digital and power electronics. Linux, C/C++, and VHDL skills are valued, with KiCad experience essential.

Qualifications

• Experience creating schematics and designing PCBs.
• Practical experience testing and debugging electronic hardware.
• Ability to take ownership of designs and collaborate with engineers.
• Experience with KiCad; experience with another PCB CAD package is welcome.
• Power electronics experience would be useful, with opportunity to develop this area.
• Familiarity with Linux command-line tools, C/C++, VHDL, FPGAs or SoCs is advantageous.

Job DescriptionElectronics Design Engineer *WILL REQUIRE RELOCATION TO NORWICH* - £60,000 + Bonus If you enjoy taking a design from schematic through to a working circuit board, this role offers plenty of hands‑on engineering and a strong pipeline of new products. An established technology manufacturer is looking for an Electronics Design Engineer to join its small engineering team. The business has an international customer base, and you’ll have the chance to see your designs through from initial concept to manufacture. This role would suit an engineer with a few years’ experience in schematic and PCB design. You’ll work mainly on new products, alongside some improvements to existing designs.

What you’ll be doing as an Electronics Design Engineer:

• Designing electronic schematics and multilayer PCBs.
• Building and testing prototypes, investigating faults and refining designs.

• Contributing to design reviews and working with Manufacturing, Test and Quality.
