Job summary

TERMA is seeking an Electronic Design Engineer for Electrical Products to influence product development from ideation to production.

The role involves digital and analog electronics, PCB work, C/C++ programming, documentation, and conformity and certification activities with international labs. You’ll work with product teams to deliver compliant, high-quality devices.

Responsibilities

• Creation and development of innovative concepts of electronic devices.
• Designing and constructing new product solutions.
• Participation in the entire process of creating new products and introducing changes.
• Design and development of digital and analog electronics systems.
• Cooperation in the design and development of PCBs.
• Conducting product research, analyzing results and preparing reports.
• Preparing, updating and supervising technical documentation for electrical products.
• Preparation and supervision of product declarations of conformity.
• Conducting the product certification process with international research units.
• Processing and coordination of patent applications.
• Solving technical problems arising during production and seeking effective solutions.
• Cooperation in training employees about electrical products and their technical aspects.
• Cooperation with the Product Manager, Service and other teams involved in development.

Electronic Design Engineer - Electrical Products

As part of our development, we invest in new product solutions and technologies. The Electrical Products Team is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of products that combine electronics, functionality, safety, and build quality.

That's why we're looking for someone who wants to have a real impact on product development, from ideation and conception, through design and prototyping, testing and certification, to production implementation.

Therefore, we are looking for people for the position:

Electronic Design Engineer - Electrical Products

• creation and development of innovative concepts of electronic devices,
• designing and constructing new product solutions,
• participation in the entire process of creating new products and introducing changes to existing products,
• design and development of digital and analog electronics systems,
• cooperation in the design and development of PCBs,
• conducting product research, analyzing results and preparing reports,
• preparing, updating and supervising technical documentation for electrical products,
• preparation and supervision of product declarations of conformity,
• conducting the product certification process in cooperation with international research units,
• processing and coordination of patent applications,
• solving technical problems arising during production and searching for effective solutions,
• cooperation in the preparation and implementation of employee training in the field of knowledge about electrical products and their technical aspects,
• cooperation with the Product Manager, Service and other teams involved in product development and implementation.

Requirements:

• higher technical education, preferred fields: Electronics, Electrics, Electromechanics, Automation and Robotics,
• practical knowledge of digital and analog electronics systems,
• ability to program in C/C++,
• knowledge of PCB design principles,
• ability to prepare and maintain technical documentation,
• very good knowledge of English,
• ability to make independent technical decisions,
• the ability to assess opportunities, risks and potential threats related to planned solutions,
• the ability to act effectively in difficult and emergency situations and to seek creative solutions to technical problems,analytical thinking and the ability to draw conclusions from conducted research and tests,
• communication skills and the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.
