Job summary

Jit Team in Poland is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer to lead first-line analysis of production issues and interface between manufacturing sites and Product Engineering. You will study electrical behavior under varied conditions and drive DoE-based containment and recovery actions.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in power electronics, strong data analysis, and experience with failure analysis. Travel to Europe may be required as part of global projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of power electronics and electrical performance under real-world conditions.
• Experience with production testing, characterization, validation, or failure analysis.
• Familiarity with 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone Analysis, and DoE.
• Ability to analyze technical data and translate findings into actions.

Job description

• First-level engineering analysis of production issues after manufacturing and CPE investigations
• Primary engineering interface between manufacturing plants and Product Engineering
• Analyze electrical behavior under varying production, environmental, and system conditions
• Support rapid containment and escalation for process, design, supplier, or mixed-origin issues
• Define and coordinate DoE to isolate electrical contributors to failures
• Evaluate component variation, tolerances, operating margins, and derating
• Investigate and resolve issues with power semiconductors, gate drives, power supplies, passive components, and control hardware
• Collaborate with design engineers, simulation specialists, EMC experts, validation, and reliability teams
• Assess impact of supplier changes, PCNs, obsolescence, and alternative component sources
• Perform root cause analyses using 8D, DoE, and statistical techniques
• Document findings and communicate recommendations to global engineering and manufacturing teams
• Incorporate lessons learned into design guidelines, standards, DFMEAs, and best practices
• Work on advanced power electronics and eMobility products for automotive across Poland, Luxembourg and Portugal

Key requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering, power electronics, manufacturing support, product development, or related disciplines
• Strong understanding of power electronics, electronic circuit behavior, component variation and tolerance analysis, and electrical performance under real-world operating conditions
• Experience with production testing, characterization, validation, or failure analysis
• Familiarity with structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone Analysis, and Design of Experiments
• Ability to analyze technical data and convert findings into practical manufacturing and engineering actions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional global teams
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple technical investigations

Preferred qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in automotive electronics or power electronics products
• Experience in hardware design, validation, test engineering, failure analysis, or manufacturing support
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations or production launch activities
• Familiarity with semiconductor-based power conversion systems
• Knowledge of automotive quality processes and APQP/PPAP methodologies
