Job summary

Chemelex in Poland is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design electrical installations, prepare wiring diagrams, and create BOMs for cabinet assembly, ensuring safety and compliance. You will develop documentation for production and support prototype testing.

Role requires proficiency with EPLAN Electric P8 or SEE Electrical Expert, plus experience in control systems and cabling. You will collaborate with project managers, production and logistics in a multilingual team.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in Electrical or Electronics engineering.
• 2+ years designing electrical installations.
• Experience designing electrical diagrams with EPLAN Electric P8 or SEE Electrical Expert.
• Experience in designing/assembling distribution and control systems.
• Knowledge of cable harness design and production.
• Exposure to Ex/ATEX certification is a plus.
• Fluent English and Polish language abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepares technical documentation for production: electrical diagrams, material lists, wiring docs, assembly and testing instructions.
• Creates assembly instructions and schematics using EPLAN/CAD software.
• Develops BOM electrical/electronic parts and IEC-aligned documentation.
• Performs standard and prototype testing as needed.
• Ensures prototype integration is safe, high quality, cost-efficient and timely.
• Participates in all prototype-to-production activities and cost calculations.
• Produces technical specs, manuals and maintenance instructions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares technical documentation required for production - electrical diagrams, material list, wiring documentation, assembly instructions and testing instructions.
• Prepares assembly instructions and schematics using an EPLAN/CAD program.
• Creates the electrical/electronic parts of the BOM. Prepares documentation in accordance with the cabinet construction process and the recommendations of IEC standards.
• Performs standard tests as well as additional prototype tests if required.
• Responsible for all issues related to the integration of the prototype, in particular for safety, quality, efficiency, timeliness of work and costs.
• Involvement in all activities related to the prototype and its implementation into production.
• Creates technical specifications, manual and maintenance instructions.
• Prepares project cost calculations.
• Work in a multidisciplinary team during all phases of the project.
• Cooperation with project managers, production, buyers, planners and logistics.
• Work in accordance with the company's main principles of: safety, quality, on-time delivery, standardization of used components and minimization of costs.

REQUIREMENTS

• Completed studies at the Faculty of Electrical or Electronics of the University of Technology, supported by work experience as an electrical engineer or similar.
• Over 2 years of experience in designing electrical installations. Practical ability to design wiring and electrical installations.
• Work experience with design of electrical diagrams supporting software EPLAN Electric P8, or SEE Electrical Expert.
• Experience in designing and assembling electrical distribution and control systems, prefabrication of low voltage switchgears.
• Knowledge of issues related to the design and production of cable harnesses.
• Knowledge of the issues of electrical integration of cabinets, and experience in certification of products for Ex/ATEX hazardous areas will be an additional advantage.
• Knowledge of English at a level enabling communication in a multilingual team; proficient in Polish.
