Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Power Engineer Designer to join our energy sector projects, focusing on GIS/AIS switchgear design and HV installations. You will prepare technical docs and coordinate tasks through to final delivery.

Required are strong power engineering knowledge, RUPLAN or Engineering Base experience, and ability to work with English or German documentation and clients. Collaboration across teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Higher technical education in electrical engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Practical knowledge of RUPLAN software and/or Engineering Base.
• Strong knowledge of power engineering documentation and electrical schematics.
• Good command of English or German for technical documentation and client cooperation.

Responsibilities

• Design GIS/AIS switchgear and medium/high voltage power stations.
• Develop schematics and technical documentation in the RUPLAN environment.
• Coordinate power engineering projects from offer stage to final delivery of documentation.
• Prepare and update project documentation per standards and client requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders at all implementation stages.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Power Engineer Designer to join the team working on projects related to the design of power stations and GIS/AIS switchgear for clients in the energy sector. The person in this position will be responsible for preparing technical documentation, designing medium and high voltage installations, and coordinating project activities. Practical knowledge of the RUPLAN tool is a key element of the role.

Your tasks

• Design of GIS/AIS switchgear and medium and high voltage power stations
• Development of schematics, executive and technical documentation in the RUPLAN environment
• Coordination and implementation of power engineering projects from the offer stage to delivery of complete documentation
• Preparation and updating of project documentation in accordance with applicable standards and client requirements
• Collaboration with project teams and stakeholders at all stages of implementation

Requirements

• Higher technical education in a relevant field (electrical engineering, power engineering, or related) or equivalent professional experience
• Practical knowledge of RUPLAN software and/or Engineering Base
• Strong knowledge of power engineering documentation and electrical schematics
• Good command of English or German enabling work with technical documentation and client cooperation

Nice to have

• Experience in designing switchgear, power stations, or medium and high voltage systems
