Overview

As part of the Safety and Compliance department, reporting to the EMEA Environment & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations and minimizing risks to employees and the environment.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and drive EHS management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
  • Ensure compliance with all EHS regulations and other requirements, and liaise with authorities
  • Lead safety and environmental risk analyses to maintain a safe working environment
  • Conduct EHS audits on people, processes, internal standards and facilities
  • Track various metrics and KPIs used by the organization to show performance and identify areas to improve
  • Develop and implement programs to improve safety and environmental performance (workplace accidents, waste reduction, energy consumption reduction, etc.)
  • Carry out specific analyses such as chemical, noise assessments
  • Conduct and monitor incident analyses, root cause investigations and deployment of associated action plans
  • Control and organize document management
  • Initiate action plans in line with Group expectations, EHS cultural change and performance improvement
  • Develop and deploy instructions, standards and programs at both local and international level
  • Act as a safety expert for laser activities and responsible of the global MI Safety standard
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quality, Health, Safety, Environment
  • Over 3 years' experience in a similar position
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Leadership, ability to convince/federate, ability to influence
  • Knowledge of flammable liquids and chemical hazards
  • Fluent English (regular exchanges with international counterparts), English-speaking direct supervisor
  • Knowledge of laser activities and laser safety is an advantage
