Join us in this role where you’ll be part of driving our next generation cloud-based data warehouse ecosystem, providing modern, customer-centric, innovative, and reliable data products to support the growth of our organization. You’ll work hands-on with onboarding data, build data models, and make the models available for consumption. You’ll also transform knowledge from these activities into easily deployable and automated data products.

You’ll be part of the Data Warehouse team at Ørsted Data Ecosystem, responsible for developing and operating cloud data warehouse products. Our data ecosystem includes teams offering fundamental data capabilities such as data lake, streaming, cloud data warehousing, and data management. You’ll collaborate across teams to deliver fully deployable and integrable data products, with a focus on best-in-class technical cloud setup. We embrace outcomes over output, believe respect and good collaboration are essential for great results, and support family commitments.

You’ll play an important role in:

• Ensuring data observability and optimal performance of cloud data warehouses
• Maintaining and optimizing the Azure DWH platform
• Performing PoCs on cutting-edge data warehousing technologies
• Migrating on-premises data warehouses to new platforms
• Handling incidents and providing third-level support for data warehousing solutions

To succeed in the role, you:

• Have extensive experience with Microsoft Synapse data warehouse platform maintenance
• Possess a strong background in distributed data processing and data modeling
• Are proficient in SQL
• Are familiar with automation deployment using Terraform
• Are a team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and fluent in English
