We're looking for a Big Data Developer to join a project focused on building scalable, high-performance data processing solutions. This role involves developing real-time streaming applications, integrating diverse data sources, and contributing to an advanced analytics pipeline designed to process and refine large datasets efficiently. The project leverages modern Big Data technologies to optimize data workflows and enhance real-time processing capabilities. What You'll Be Doing

• Developing distributed and highly parallelized Big Data processing pipelines to handle vast datasets efficiently
• Leveraging Spark to enrich, transform, and optimize corporate data for searchability and advanced analytics
• Implementing multiple data requirements, ensuring seamless integration with various data sources
• Collaborating with DevOps, QA, and Product teams in a Continuous Delivery environment to drive improvements

Expected competencies and knowledge

• 5+ years of experience with functional programming using Scala and Spark
• Strong communication skills and experience working in distributed global teams
• A data-driven approach, capable of making informed decisions based on large-scale datasets
• Experience in Agile methodologies and iterative software development
• Fluent English communication skills (B2 minimum)
