As a Cloud & DevOps Engineer, you and your team will:

• Craft and nurture our Internal Development Platform, creating a seamless experience for development teams by harmonizing tools and technologies across our enterprise. You'll be the driving force behind enabling self-service for Azure cloud resources, using GitOps configuration repositories to empower creativity and innovation.
• Champion the observability of our cloud-based services, ensuring that applications, runtime environments, infrastructure components, and workloads are always in sight. Your expertise in monitoring and alerting will be crucial in maintaining the heartbeat of our operations.
• Elevate our development teams by delivering cutting-edge, reliable shared platform services that boost quality, security, and speed to market.
• Collaborate closely with diverse teams, diving deep into their needs for advanced infrastructure as code, APIs, and CI/CD tooling. Your insights and solutions will help us build a stronger, more connected Vaillant Group.
  

What makes us successful together

• Experience: You have proven experience in the configuration and administration of Kubernetes Clusters, CI/CD Workflows and Cloud Infrastructure - including networks, compute and storage. You have complementary skills in the object-oriented programming and writing deployment scripts.
• Know-how and skills: The ideas of Infrastructure as a Code and GitOps configuration management is not new for you; you are familiar with tools like Git, Docker, Terraform, and ArgoCD.
• Personality: You have strong analytical and communication skills. Your structured way of working, combined with a high degree of initiative and motivation ensures stable outcomes.
• Nice to have: Additional knowledge about Kubernetes configuration and provisioning (e.g. using Helm, Crossplane)
• Language skills: Your business-fluent English skills and your open and trustworthy personality enable you to communicate confidently with developers and product owners.
