Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Controls Product Engineer to join our Controls Aftermarket team in Krakow. We are dedicated to enhancing our aftermarket support for installed subsea and topside controls systems. Our goal is to strengthen our Controls product support capabilities across our entire portfolio, with a focus on Network, UCOS, and Topside Controls Competency.

As a Controls Product Engineer, you will execute Controls Aftermarket Product Modifications, follow up and support Online Production Control Systems, and support aftermarket jobs related to product and offshore campaigns.

This is a unique opportunity to develop your technical skills and gain a comprehensive overview of offshore operations.

Job Description
  • Actively follow up and maintain Controls Aftermarket products.
  • Regularly support and follow up on Online Production Control Systems.
  • Provide 1st line support to customers for troubleshooting and operational advice on Control systems.
  • Engage with internal and external customers regularly.
  • Understand customer needs and relay feedback to product management and development.
  • Identify potential system improvements and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to implement them.
  • Prepare procedures, specifications, and drawings for offshore operations.
  • Travel regularly to Ågotnes and Kongsberg for training and work execution.
You are meant for this job if:
  • You hold a Degree in Engineering (BSc or MSc) in electrical, automation, IT, petroleum, marine, or related fields, or have equivalent experience.
  • You have at least 5 years of proven experience with control software systems, hydraulic, and/or electrical systems.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience with virtual systems, IT networks, and communication protocols.
  • You can work effectively in a project environment.
