Job description

For a UN Agency based in Berlin, NTT DATA is currently looking for a Project Support personnel to join the team onsite and assist the Operations and Management Team with the delivery of high-priority, division-wide projects. Responsibilities will include analysis of requirement, and support implementation efforts, coordinating activities, maintaining documentation, and monitoring project progress. The incumbent will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the division to help ensure the successful execution of initiatives and adherence to established timelines.

You will be responsible for:

  • Delivery of tested prototypes and a roadmap for full deployment, including user access controls, integration plans, and compliance features.
  • Development of detailed guidelines for system use, maintenance, and governance across all four workstreams, ensuring continuity and institutional knowledge retention.
  • Documentation of action points related to coordination meetings with technical teams on major meetings and events; and ensuring these deliverables amongst the stakeholders and delivered on a timely basis.
  • Design and delivery of training sessions, user guides, and onboarding resources to ensure staff are equipped to use and maintain the new systems effectively.
  • Regular updates on milestones and risks, culminating in a final report that summarizes achievements, lessons learned, and recommendations for ongoing management.

For this role you will need to have experience in:

  • First-level university degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Political Science, Communications, International Relations or similar area.
  • Recent professional experience in providing support for project planning, management and successful delivery of complex cross functional or interdependent projects, some of which should be at the global or international level.
  • Experience in collaborating with teams (physically or virtually) in an international and multi-cultural environment whilst producing results
  • Demonstrated capacity for strategic thinking with the ability to quickly comprehend strategic and tactical objectives and to formulate comprehensive plans to address challenges/risks.
  • Proven ability to successfully interact and negotiate with stakeholders at international level.
  • Proven success in providing on site support for project team by coordinating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
  • Proven ability to build successful working relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders and coordinate activities across multiple parties.
  • Capable of maintaining a high degree of effectiveness and professionalism in a multi-tasking role, synthesizing information quickly, managing priorities, delivering with quality, and working to challenging timescales.
  • Proactive, flexible, resourceful and able to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Proven ability to promote the use and adherence of methodologies, processes, and standards across the Organization. Proven excellence in planning, co-ordination and organization.
  • Expert knowledge in spoken and written English.
  • Knowledge in spoken and written German is desirable, but not mandatory.

Desirable:

  • A second-level university degree (master's degree) in any of the subjects mentioned above would be an advantage.
  • Extensive experience in working across multiple time zones without the need for face-to-face meetings.
  • Experience with UN or other international or multinational organizations.
