VCP Product Manager

Ontex is a leading international provider of disposable personal hygiene solutions for all generations. With a global team of around 7,500 employees, we develop, produce and distribute in about 100 countries through leading retailers and healthcare providers. Ontex was founded in Belgium in 1979 and is listed on Euronext Brussels.

To reinforce our Commercialteam we are looking for a VCP Product Manager.

Main responsibilities and key tasks

• Ensure the implementation of different projects defined to create value in our European business, in close collaboration with Sales, plants, ppm & R&D.
  • Raw material changes (change of suppliers with a new quality, change of quality, change of dimensions,…)
  • Adaptation of the products to fit the defined product catalogues (in a proactive and reactive way)
  • Escalate requests for exceptions on catalogue (gathering info needed to take a fact based decision on higher level)
  • the phase out of references that create complexity in production
  • the phase out of references that do not meet the minimum production quantity
  • the implementation of platform changes
• Support the development of new tools to facilitate the implementation
• Support the div PM’s with evaluating the Pre ACP’s of segment 2 &3 customers (avoiding new complexity coming in, by assuring that catalogue is being followed)

Education

Experience

• 2-4 years’ experience in Category Management or Product Management
• Experience in multinational FMCG companies is a plus
• Experience in Baby Care and Fem Care categories is ideal
• Results oriented attitude and high sense of operating with discipline
• Strong leadership and ownership
• High reliability and strong project management skills
• Able to build very strong collaboration with all stakeholders
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Analytical mindset and with problem solving approach
• Be able to prepare internal reporting and presentations
