Job summary

Wipro Limited in Krakow invites applications for the Senior BIM Consultant (contract) to analyze client processes, perform market studies, and identify BIM workflow improvements using IFC data and modern visualization tools.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, produce technical documentation, and support revenue growth through solution design. 8+ years in BIM/engineering software development and hands-on IFC experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Technology, Architecture, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of BIM/Engineering software development experience.
• Proven experience working with BIM platforms, IFC data, and large-scale engineering models.

Responsibilities

• Business process analysis-Analyse client business processes to identify improvement opportunities and change areas, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
• Market research & benchmarking- Conduct in-depth market analysis and validate benchmarking study and proposed alternate process and functional methodologies.
• Perform cost benefit analysis of proposed strategies to support planning decisions, including identification of any third party products.
• Optimization Initiatives-Identify domain-specific process improvement opportunities, evaluate and propose enhancements, to align with defined business objectives and established best practices.
• Technical Documentation-Prepare drafts of technical documentation for business processes and system configurations by gathering inputs from cross-functional teams to ensure relevant details are accurately captured.
• Revenue Growth-Participate and contribute in designing proposals in alignment with the proposed solutions.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience in BIM Development and IFC data structures.


• Expertise in Spatial Geometry, 3D Model Processing, and Engineering Systems.


• Hands-on experience with IFC model parsing, IFC GUIDs, metadata extraction, and model relationships.


• Proficiency in C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar development technologies.


• Experience with Web-based BIM Viewers (xeokit, IFC.js, Autodesk Forge, APS, or similar).


• Knowledge of BuildingSMART IFC standards and BIM interoperability.


• Experience in AI/LLM integrations, Agentic AI frameworks, Prompt Engineering, and RAG solutions.


• Familiarity with PDF parsing, document intelligence, and unstructured data processing.


• Understanding of commissioning processes, construction engineering, or asset management domains.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Technology, Architecture, Computer Science, or related field.


• 8+ years of BIM /Engineering software development experience.


• Proven experience working with BIM platforms, IFC data, and large-scale engineering models.


• Experience delivering AI-enabled digital engineering solutions is highly desirable
