Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Director to lead the R&D Asset Transition & Integration Office (RATIO) in Lodz, Poland. You will head a team delivering asset wind-downs, divestments, and in-licensing transitions, shaping digital tooling and standardized processes across a global network.

You will work at the intersection of science, operations and strategy, driving performance and data integrity while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in a scientific or related field required; advanced degree welcomed.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in pharma/biotech, esp. in R&D strategy/operations or program management.
• Demonstrated people management experience, including direct line management.
• Delivery in global matrix environments and experience with external counterparties.
• Fluent English suitable for global governance forums; strong communication skills.
• Working knowledge of R&D processes (clinical, regulatory, safety, quality).
• Track record in leading complex, cross-functional programs to completion with external partners.
• Experience designing/improving processes or digital tooling in regulated settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of transition professionals; set objectives and manage performance.
• Own a portfolio of live transitions; ensure budgets, schedules and performance standards.
• Design and implement digitized, data-driven transition processes.
• Drive process optimization across transition archetypes with KPIs and lessons learned.
• Govern operating model and agreements between RATIO and dependent functions.
• Provide strategic insight to senior leadership on portfolio status and resourcing.
