Job Overview
Manage and support the operational elements and execution of studies and/or programs to ensure delivery; time and quality resulting in strong financial performance and customer satisfaction, in accordance with SOPs, policies, and practices from pre-award to close-out. Collaborate with study/ program teams to leverage therapeutic expertise and IQVIA solutions, focusing on operational excellence and strategic leadership. Support the management of the EU internal medicine project management team.
*Only applications with extensive experience in Ophthalmology, Respiratory, or Gastrointestinal diseases will be considered.
*This role is not eligible for UK Visa Sponsorship.
Essential Functions
• Participate in bid defense preparations and lead presentations with Business Development.
• Develop and support the preparation of study management plans.
• Oversee the strategic development and execution of clinical studies, ensuring quality, speed, and cost-efficiency.
• Serve as the primary contact with customers and collaborate with internal teams.
• Set objectives, communicate performance expectations, and lead the project team.
• Support milestone achievement and manage study issues.
• Monitor project progress and communicate proactively.
• Lead risk management and problem solving.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Ensure project quality and manage change control.
• Support financial management and forecasting.
• Promote continuous improvement and adapt to corporate initiatives.
• Support staff development and performance management.
Qualifications
• 12 years of relevant experience, including project management.
• At least 7 years in Ophthalmology, Respiratory, or Gastrointestinal diseases.
• Knowledge of clinical trials, GCP, and ICH guidelines.
• Strong understanding of the clinical research industry.
