Job summary

Gainsight is seeking a Director, Product Security to lead the security program from Poland, reporting to the Chief Security Officer. This hybrid role requires 13+ years in software/security with 7+ years in leadership.

You will drive secure SDLC practices, collaborate with engineering and product teams, and guide a global product security engineering team. Occasional travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• 13+ years across Software/Security/Product Security with 7+ years in leadership.
• Experience building or scaling Product Security in SaaS / cloud-native settings.
• Deep expertise in Secure SDLC, threat modeling, security architecture, API security, and modern auth frameworks.
• Proven ability to influence architecture and security strategies with Eng and Product leadership.
• Strong grasp of cloud-native architectures, microservices and multi-tenant SaaS.
• Experience driving vulnerability management and product risk remediation.

Responsibilities

• Maturing the application security program.
• Increase test coverage across assets using SAST/DAST/SCA and container scanning.
• Track Gates Passed/Failed based on high-severity policy violations.
• Manage a global team of product security engineers.
