Job summary

HelloFresh in Warsaw is seeking an accomplished engineering leader to drive GenAI enablement across the group. You will own the platform the whole team builds on and lead embedded engineers in multiple business functions, shaping strategy and delivering value.

You will guide Engineering Managers and Staff Engineers across Berlin and Warsaw, ensuring delivery, engineering standards, and scalable AI-native practices, while maintaining cost controls and governance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering and 5+ years leading Engineering Managers across multiple disciplines.
• Hands-on experience designing and shipping agentic systems.
• Proven record building internal platforms adopted by engineers.
• Led transformation programs or large enablement initiatives.
• Strong credibility with senior stakeholders.
• Technology strategy ownership at org or business unit level.

Responsibilities

• Own GenAI platform across the group, including gateway and marketplace.
• Lead embedded engineers across marketing, HR, finance, and operations.
• Build GenAI proficiency through curricula and enablement paths.
• Co-create GenAI strategy and turn it into a delivery roadmap.
• Lead Engineering Managers and Staff Engineers across Berlin and Warsaw.
• Maintain guardrails, evals, cost controls, and security/compliance boundaries.
