Job summary

Fortrea is seeking an Epidemiologist Director to lead complex epidemiology and real-world evidence engagements for pharmaceutical and biotech clients. You will oversee study design, methods, analysis, and communication of findings, while supporting regulatory submissions and payer decisions.

You will also contribute to business development, thought leadership, innovation, and growth of Fortrea's epidemiology practice, mentoring junior staff and guiding multidisciplinary teams across global

Qualifications

• Doctoral-level degree in Epidemiology, Pharmacoepidemiology, Public Health, or related quantitative health science discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of epidemiology experience in consulting, CRO, pharma, biotech, healthcare, or related environments.
• Proven success leading client engagements and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong client relationships and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior scientific leadership across observational, non-interventional, and real-world evidence studies.
• Lead design and oversight of epidemiology and RWE research programs.
• Guide study design, data strategy, and analytical approaches for client objectives.
• Mentor epidemiologists and support talent development and recruitment.
