About the role

The EMEA Digital Transformation Manager is responsible for accelerating business growth through strategic digital transformation across the region. This role enhances AkzoNobel’s value proposition by aligning digital initiatives with customer needs, market trends, and internal capabilities, ensuring impactful and measurable results.

Key responsibilities
  • Deliver a comprehensive Digital Footprint and Digital Roadmap for EMEA.
  • Define, monitor, and deliver performance and financial KPIs for digital initiatives to ensure measurable success and position AkzoNobel as the preferred digital partner.
  • Drive innovation in digital services and build strong relationships with third-party partners.
  • Develop tailored digital solutions for key customer segments and integrate tools such as Mixit Cloud and Carbeat, along with e-commerce capabilities.
  • Lead regional digital projects and ensure alignment with global initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and key accounts to prioritize actions.
  • Represent EMEA in global forums and maintain strategic industry relationships.
Job requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial, marketing, or digital roles within B2B environments.
  • Strong knowledge of paints/coatings industry or similar sectors is nice to have.
  • Proven skills in stakeholder management, project leadership, and creating value propositions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluent in English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Ability to work across functions and influence at regional and global levels.
