DevOps Engineer - Workload Automation

We are looking for you if:

• You have experience with maintaining applications on Linux platform (RedHat).

• You have experience with relational databases (Oracle).

• You have experience in maintaining and supporting Workload Automation tools (e.g., Universal Automation Center, Control-M, IWS).

• You have very good communication skills in English (written and oral).

• You possess strong problem-solving skills.

You’ll get extra points for:

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GIT).

• Knowledge of IaC tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).

• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Golang).

• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).

• Experience with middleware (e.g., Tomcat, Nginx).

• Experience with container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker).

• Experience working in an agile environment.

Your responsibilities include:

• Maintaining and supporting the global ING workload automation solution.

• Managing incidents and requests.

• Automating tasks and improving processes.

About the squad:

Our Global Workload Automation team in Poland is seeking a DevOps Engineer who is technically passionate, solution-focused, and capable of contributing to the design, maintenance, and support of a workload automation platform. This team is part of ING Private Cloud within ING.

We are responsible for delivering and maintaining a workload automation solution in a self-service model for all ING Group units worldwide.

We are highly motivated and committed to providing our customers with fully integrated, compliant, and reliable services to automate their daily activities.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Engineer II”.
