Job summary

Cavendish Professionals is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a project for Google, a tech company focused on online services and cloud computing. You will build and maintain development tools, set up infrastructure, and implement secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines.

You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize deployment processes, strengthen security, and develop SME-level expertise while contributing to infrastructure automation and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python with strong scripting abilities.
• Advanced knowledge of Google Cloud Platform architecture and services.
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and container orchestration.
• Strong focus on security practices in cloud environments.
• Understanding deployment processes and release management.

Responsibilities

• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure.
• Applying best practices in:

• Infrastructure security
• Building, testing, and maintaining end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensuring systems and infrastructure remain secure against potential threats.
• Working independently and developing expertise as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Actively participating in team discussions and contributing technical solutions to work-related challenges.
• Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to improve infrastructure automation and deployment processes.
