Job summary

Sigma Software is seeking motivated individuals to start a DevOps career. You will learn and apply DevOps practices, automate tasks, and collaborate with the development team to build, deploy, and operate diverse systems.

Ideal candidates have scripting experience, Linux knowledge, and familiarity with CI/CD tools, cloud services, and basic Kubernetes. English fluency at an upper-intermediate level is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience as a System Administrator, or DevOps Engineer, or SRE.
• Practical scripting experience with Bash or Python.
• Knowledge of networking (routing, firewall, VPN).
• Understanding of Linux operating system.
• Knowledge of web and application servers such as Nginx and Apache.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI.
• Basic experience with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Basic knowledge of Terraform and Ansible.
• Basic knowledge of Git.
• Upper-Intermediate level of English.
• WORLD WILL BE A PLUS: Familiarity with SDLC and Agile principles.
• Other DevOps skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn and stay uptodate with new technologies and tools related to DevOps practice.
• Provide high-quality, professional day-to-day execution of tasks.
• Work closely with development team members to achieve goals.
