Job Description:

The Generative AI Innovation Center at AWS empowers customers to harness state-of-the-art AI technologies for transformative business opportunities. Our multidisciplinary team collaborates with customers across industries to deploy customized generative AI applications at scale. We also work with foundational model providers to optimize AI models for Amazon Silicon, enhancing performance and efficiency.

As a DevOps Consultant, you will assist customers in launching generative AI workloads on AWS, designing and implementing distributed model training pipelines, or deploying inference at scale. You will guide automation of infrastructure, applications, and machine learning workflows. You will help build serverless or containerized applications and promote DevOps best practices. You will collaborate with customers and partners, lead with your expertise, and may travel to customer locations for professional services. We support your certification efforts.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Automating production environments with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform, and managing containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Fargate).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (AWS Code, ArgoCD, Jenkins, etc.), Linux/Windows system administration.
• Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (TypeScript, Python, Java, C++, Go), automating tasks, and problem-solving.
• Successful implementation of DevOps practices and culture.
• Basic understanding of Machine Learning concepts related to model training, deployment, inference, MLOps.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Designing resilient, large-scale distributed systems with load balancing and disaster recovery.
• Experience working with customers, partners, or vendors.
• Knowledge of microservices, distributed architectures, and integrating application components.
• Experience with automated testing tools.
• Fluent communication skills in English, including technical documentation.
