Job summary

Jit Team is seeking a cloud engineer to join a team building and maintaining a secure, scalable cloud platform for electronic trading in a highly regulated financial services landscape. You will work primarily with AWS, Terraform, and modern CI/CD practices in a multi-account environment.

You will collaborate with development, security, and platform teams, improve observability with Grafana and CloudWatch, and apply security and disaster recovery best practices while embracing AI-enabled

Qualifications

• Strong AWS experience (IAM, networking, security).
• Hands-on Terraform and IaC expertise.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of monitoring/observability (Grafana, CloudWatch, Sentry).
• Understanding of security, backup, and disaster recovery practices.
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments is a plus.
• Comfortable using AI tools in daily engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure in a multi-account environment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines to support platform scalability and reliability.
• Monitor platform health and performance using Grafana, CloudWatch, and Sentry.
• Implement security best practices, backup strategies, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Collaborate with development, platform, and security teams to deliver robust cloud solutions.
• Support platform modernization and operational excellence initiatives in a regulated financial environment.

Project

You will join a team responsible for building and maintaining a secure, scalable cloud platform supporting electronic trading and financial market solutions. The project focuses on AWS infrastructure, platform automation with Terraform, and modern CI/CD practices across a multi-account cloud environment. Engineers are involved in strengthening security, disaster recovery, observability, and operational resilience in a highly regulated financial services landscape. The environment leverages tools such as Grafana, CloudWatch, and Sentry to ensure platform reliability and performance. Close collaboration with development, security, and platform teams is an important part of the role.
