The Applications Development Technology Analyst is a senior technical position responsible for establishing and implementing platform for Core Banking system. The role, based in Warsaw, Poland, is within a development team focused on the design, build, and support of solutions utilizing IBM, Oracle, and Red Hat technologies. Key responsibilities include integration with diverse infrastructure and application components, managing platform-related technical risk and compliance in this area, and delivering automation for Citibank's global transactional system, Flexcube, across over 60 branches in EMEA, NAM, and LATAM.

Platform & Environment Management: Design, build, and support robust, scalable Flexcube platform solutions; manage environment orchestration, capacity, and integration with diverse infrastructure (e.g., Oracle, RHEL, WebLogic, Cloud, CI/CD). Collaborate with architects and administrators.
Automation & Efficiency: Develop and implement automations (e.g., shell, Perl, Java) to enhance operational efficiency and platform resiliency.
Project & Stakeholder Coordination: Act as SPOC for projects, coordinating across business, operations, and technology to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.
Risk, Compliance & Problem Resolution: Support audits, manage application risk/compliance, and resolve high-impact technical/business problems, defining innovative solutions in line with Citigroup standards.
Technical Advisory & L3 Support: Provide expert guidance in platform design, ensure architectural adherence, and offer L3 Flexcube support (troubleshooting, problem management). Coach junior team members.
University degree in IT or similar
Strong organizational and coordination skills
Hands on 6+ years of relevant experience in application/Infrastructure delivery or systems analysis role
3+ years of experience with Oracle database and Unix/Linux OS
Scripting skills (bash, sql)
Ability to do detailed level analysis of requirements
Experience in automation of manual activities
Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
Following will be an advantage (we teach):
Cloud, Open Shift, Containerization technologies knowledge
Experience in design, development and deployment for a large organization leveraging multiple Business applications
Knowledge of security management in Oracle, RedHat and IBM components
Scheduler concept knowledge (like autosys)
Flexcube or other banking solutions knowledge
Experience with middleware components – WebSphere & WebLogic
ITIL certification
