Job summary

Regnology is seeking an Environment Manager to lead operations in the Environment Management & FinOps (EMF) team. You will ensure healthy development, test and pre-production environments across regions and collaborate with R&D, Platform Engineering and Infrastructure to improve reliability and efficiency.

The role emphasizes automation, IaC and AI-assisted workflows, with Start-of-Day readiness and strong focus on cost optimization through FinOps.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or Cloud Operations.
• Strong ownership of operational issues and incidents.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerization.
• Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform) and automation.
• Proficient with CI/CD tooling (GitLab/Jenkins).
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Keep development, test and pre-production environments healthy and ready across regions.
• Monitor environment health, investigate incidents and coordinate root-cause analysis.
• Support provisioning, configuration, access, maintenance and decommissioning.
• Contribute to Start-of-Day readiness and handovers in a follow-the-sun model.
• Identify and close Path-to-Live gaps to ensure alignment across environments.
• Automate repetitive work using IaC, GitOps, scripting and runbooks.
• Contribute to FinOps by identifying cost optimization opportunities.
• Develop and improve EMF Command Center and FinOps Platform.
• Maintain operational documentation and KPIs; communicate across teams.
