Job summary

AlgoSec is seeking an experienced Deployment Engineer for Eastern Europe to join the Professional Services team and support EMEA customers. You will deploy, configure, and optimize the AlgoSec Horizon platform, lead technical implementation activities, and transfer knowledge to customers.

The role requires extensive travel across EMEA and deep experience with enterprise networks and security equipment. Reporting to the Deployment Engineering Team Lead, EMEA & APAC, the position is based in

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a technical consulting, deployment, or professional services role within software or cybersecurity.
• Strong enterprise networking knowledge including routing, switching, TCP/IP, and architectures.
• Experience deploying and supporting enterprise security solutions and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills in English, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and optimize the AlgoSec Horizon platform in enterprise environments.
• Lead installation, upgrades, configuration, troubleshooting, and system administration activities.
• Deliver knowledge transfer sessions and technical training to customers.
• Collaborate with R&D, Support, and Product Management to drive timely resolution of issues.
• Engage with Professional Services, Sales, Customer Success, and Solution Engineering across the customer lifecycle.

As a Deployment Engineer, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor, helping enterprise customers deploy, configure, andoptimizethe AlgoSec Horizon platform. Your primaryobjectiveis to accelerate customers' time-to-value by delivering successful implementations based on industry best practices while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

• Deploy, configure, andoptimizethe AlgoSec Horizon platform in enterprise customer environments.
• Lead technical implementation activities, including installation, upgrades, configuration, troubleshooting, and system administration.
• Guide customers ondeploymentbest practices to help them achieve rapid operationalization and business value.
• Deliver customer knowledge transfer sessions and technical training.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and collaborate closely with R&D, Support, and Product Management to drivetimelyresolution.
• Work closely with Professional Services, Sales, Customer Success, and Solution Engineering throughout the customerlifecycle.
• Support strategic customerengagementsby providing technicalexpertiseand deployment recommendations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing field feedback, lessons learned, anddeploymentbest practices.
• Maintaina high levelof customer satisfaction through professionalism, technical excellence, and consultative engagement.

What We're Looking For

• At least 8 years of experience in a similar technical consulting, deployment, or professional services role within a software or cybersecurity company.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking, including routing, switching, TCP/IP, and network architectures.
• Hands-on experience with enterprisefirewalltechnologies, including Check Point, Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper, or similar vendors.
• Experience deploying and supporting enterprise security solutions.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and GCP) and cloud networking/security concepts.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to build trusted relationships.
• Strong consulting, presentation, and problem-solving skills.Attention to details.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to perform effectively under pressure.Demonstrating a "make it happen" attitude.
• Team player witha high levelof professionalism and integrity.
• Ability to travel across EMEA, including short-notice travel, for up to 80% of working time.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Linux scripting languages (Python, Perl, Bash/Shell).
• Experience with REST APIs and automation.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies.
• Experience with Software Defined Networking (SDN), cloud networking, or virtual routing.
• Experience with security automation and workflow technologies.
• Proficiencyin German, French, or another European language.
