Job description

Newsela is looking for a Demand Generation Marketing Manager to define our integrated national demand strategy and execute campaigns that generate qualified leads and opportunities within our target audience. This role will report to the Manager, Demand Programs and will partner closely with our Content, Product Marketing, Marketing Operations and Sales teams.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategy and proactive quarterly planning of our demand marketing activations across channels to achieve both marketing-sourced pipeline targets for Newsela
  • Drive impact by helping to achieve demand generation goals by executing campaigns and optimizations that will drive leads, MQLs, and pipeline
  • Project manage and execute a variety of demand generation activations, including webinars, content, direct mail, and email nurture campaigns end-to-end to generate pipeline and accelerate opportunities
  • Measure campaign performance and generate data-driven insights to improve future campaign performance
  • Run data-informed experiments to uplevel our campaigns
  • Partner with Sales and SDRs on campaigns to maximize their impact on marketing sourced bookings

  • You have experience leveraging multiple digital channels including paid media to drive outcomes
  • You are extremely data-driven and committed to experimenting to improve and optimize programs for success
  • You have strong project management and entrepreneurial skills to work independently on complex projects
  • You have strong writing skills and experience creating content for emails, ads, webpages, and other marketing collateral built for conversion
  • You are meticulously organized with an ability to work and demonstrate grace under pressure
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and can move forward in this environment
  • You love problem solving and thrive in organizing and executing on demand programs and enabling sales teams with the resources and communication needed to be successful
Compensation
  • Base compensation range: $79,200 - $91,100 per year.
  • Total compensation for this role also includes incentive stock options and benefits.
