Job summary

Spyro Soft is seeking a Software/Enterprise Architect to design and maintain backend and frontend architectures for defence-related projects. You will work across scalable, secure systems, integrating multiple platforms while collaborating with development and infrastructure teams.

You will define architectural standards and best practices, address non-functional requirements, and ensure alignment with enterprise guidelines. Knowledge of defence tech and security clearances is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as Software/Enterprise Architect or equivalent.
• Strong backend architecture expertise: microservices, APIs, distributed systems.
• Solid frontend architecture understanding and patterns.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale architectures across multiple systems.
• Knowledge of architectural patterns, integration approaches and system communication.
• Experience with data models, data flows and data consistency in enterprise systems.
• Ability to define and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Experience collaborating with development and infrastructure teams.
• Good understanding of security considerations in enterprise architectures.
• Polish language: fluent/native; English: C1.
• Willingness to undergo security clearance or hold NATO/Tajna level clearance.
• Willingness to undergo checks for defence-related technologies.

• Define and maintain overall enterprise software architecture for backend and frontend.
• Design scalable, secure architectures aligned with enterprise standards.
• Ensure architectural consistency across systems, apps, and teams.
• Define tech stacks, patterns and best practices for backend and frontend.
• Design integration approaches between enterprise systems and external components.
• Address non-functional requirements: performance, security, scalability, maintainability.
• Review designs for compliance with enterprise guidelines.
• Support teams with architectural guidance and issue resolution.
