Job summary

Wipro IT Services Poland is seeking a DB2 UDB Administrator to manage partitions and high availability for databases in a hybrid Gdańsk environment.

The role requires 3+ years of DB2 experience, strong SQL skills, UNIX knowledge, and ITIL-aligned operational discipline. Benefits include a flexible package and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in administration of DB2 UDB, Partitioning and HA for databases.
• Proven experience in SQL (knowledge of DDL, DML) especially in the database administration and management.
• Experience UNIX and supporting DB2 on UNIX, UNIX shell and awk scripting and Windows.
• Knowledge of Enterprise backup solutions is preferred.
• Adhere to ITIL processes and ability to work in PROD, DEV, TEST and QA environments.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Monitor DB2 database health using predefined tools and dashboards.
• Respond to alerts related to performance, space utilization, and connectivity.
