ITBUSINESSMAN Sp. z o.o. is seeking a Databricks Data Engineer for hybrid roles in Warsaw, Poznan, or Wroclaw. You will design and enhance data pipelines using Python and Databricks, applying cloud-native tools to process large-scale datasets.

The role requires strong Python skills, 1+ year in data engineering, Databricks proficiency, and solid SQL; English communication is essential for collaboration with international teams. Hybrid work is offered with potential cloud and CI/CD exposure.

Qualifications

• 2.5+ years of commercial Python experience.
• At least 1 year hands-on data engineering experience.
• Databricks expertise.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong SQL with data modeling and query optimization.
• Strong English communication skills.

Job description

Role: Databricks Data Engineer

Localization: Warsaw/Poznan or Wrocław- hybrid work

Your Tasks:

• Design, build, and enhance data pipelines with Python and cloud-native tools
• Design and implement data processing solutions using Databricks for large-scale and diverse datasets
• Ensure data consistency, security, and scalability within cloud-based environments
• Work closely with solution architects to define and uphold best practices in data engineering.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Python for automation and data transformation ( Minimum 2.5 years of commercial experience)
• Strong experience in data engineering, with at least 1 year of hands-on
• Databricks expertise
• Experience working with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Solid understanding of SQL with experience in query optimization and data modeling
• Strong communication skills and strong English language skills.

Nice to have:

• Relevant certifications such as Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate or cloud-based data certifications
• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep)
• Experience with real-time data streaming technologies such as Kafka or Spark Streaming
• Hands-on experience with PySpark for distributed data processing
