Job summary

ITDS Polska Sp. z o.o. w Krakowie szuka średniozaawansowanego analityka danych z Databricks. Do obowiązków należy przygotowywanie danych do audytu, tworzenie raportów i wizualizacji oraz doskonalenie powtarzalnych procesów w środowisku chmurowym.

Wymagana praktyczna znajomość SQL i/lub Python, relacyjne bazy danych oraz narzędzi Power BI lub ControlRight. Praca w modelu hybrydowym z koniecznością obecności w biurze kilku dni w miesiącu; komunikacja po angielsku.

Qualifications

• Wymagane min. 3 lata doświadczenia w analizie danych lub pokrewnej dziedzinie.
• Praktyczna obsługa Databricks lub podobnej platformy danych w chmurze.
• Solidne umiejętności SQL i/lub Python do ekstrakcji i przetwarzania danych.
• Doświadczenie w pracy z relacyjnymi bazami danych.
• Udokumentowana umiejętność utrzymania istniejących zapytań i skryptów oraz tworzenia rozwiązań od podstaw.
• Dobre umiejętności analityczne i umiejętność przygotowania wiarygodnych danych wejściowych.
• Znajomość narzędzi wizualizacji danych takich jak Power BI lub ControlRight.
• Dobra komunikacja po angielsku i umiejętność jasnego wyjaśniania wyników.

Responsibilities

• Używanie Databricks lub podobnej platformy do dostępu, analizy i przygotowania zestawów danych.
• Ekstrakcja, transformacja i manipulacja danymi za pomocą SQL i/lub Python, głównie z relacyjnych baz danych.
• Utrzymanie i ulepszanie istniejących zapytań i skryptów, rozwijanie własnych rozwiązań danych.
• Produkcja uporządkowanych danych wejściowych gotowych do audytu z klarownymi wyjaśnieniami logiki, filtrów i założeń.
• Budowanie i wspieranie wizualizacji i MI z użyciem Power BI i ControlRight.
• Współpraca z liderami technicznymi i ekspertami ds. SME w celu wyjaśniania wymagań i wyników.
• Dokumentowanie Deliverables i aktualizacji w Confluence lub podobnych narzędziach współpracy.
• Automatyzacja cyklicznych procedur danych za pomocą PowerShell lub innych języków skryptowych.

Nasze wymagania

• At least 3 years of experience in data analysis or a related field.


• Hands-on experience with Databricks or a similar cloud-based data platform.


• Solid knowledge of SQL and/or Python for data extraction and manipulation.


• Experience working with relational databases.


• Proven ability to maintain existing queries and scripts and create custom solutions from scratch.


• Strong analytical skills and the ability to prepare reliable, consistent data inputs.


• Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or ControlRight.


• Strong communication skills in English and the ability to explain technical outputs clearly.

Mile widziane

• Experience with PowerShell or other scripting languages.


• Basic understanding of IT audit processes, compliance, or internal controls.


• Familiarity with Confluence or similar tools for documentation and task tracking.

As a Mid-Level Databricks Data Analyst, you will be working for our client, supporting technology, audit, and control activities through reliable cloud-based data analysis. You will help prepare accurate, traceable, and repeatable data inputs, develop reporting and visualisations, and improve recurring workflows that support compliance and internal control processes.

Krakow-based opportunity with a hybrid work model, including 6 days from the office per month.

Zakres obowiązków

• Use Databricks or a similar cloud-based data platform to access, analyse, and prepare data sets for technology, audit, and control activities.


• Extract, transform, and manipulate data using SQL and/or Python, primarily from relational databases.


• Maintain and enhance existing queries and scripts while developing custom data solutions for new requirements.


• Produce structured, audit-ready data inputs with clear explanations of logic, filters, and assumptions.


• Build and support data visualisations and management information using tools such as Power BI and ControlRight.


• Collaborate with Tech Leaders and SMEs to clarify requirements, validate outputs, and communicate findings clearly.


• Document deliverables, approaches, and updates in Confluence or similar collaboration tools.


• Automate recurring data routines and workflows using PowerShell or other scripting languages.
