Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in testing data or BI solutions.
• Very good knowledge of SQL - writing validation queries.
• Knowledge of Power BI and DAX is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data warehouse testing and validate tables, views, and ETL logic.
• Document scenarios, write SQL queries for tests, and cooperate with data teams.
• Test reports and dashboards in Power BI, ensuring data integrity.

Job description

Do you have experience in testing Business Intelligence solutions and want to grow in a Microsoft/Azure based environment? We are currently looking for a Data Tester to join a BI team executing projects for a fast fashion company with global reach.

Your tasks

• Data warehouse testing - validation of tables, views, ETL/ELT logic
• Documenting scenarios and test cases
• Writing SQL queries for automated and validation tests
• Participating in regression testing for changes and/or migrations of data sources
• Testing reports and dashboards in Power BI - validating data and business logic (DAX, semantic models)
• Daily collaboration with data engineers, analysts and global stakeholders
• Participation in a major migration project - moving from SSRS to Power BI
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in testing data, reports or BI solutions
• Very good knowledge of SQL - writing validation queries
• Experience with testing data in data warehouses
• Knowledge of Power BI - ability to validate reports and models (knowledge of DAX welcome)
• Ability to document test cases and collaborate with BI team
• Good knowledge of English - working in an international environment
• Required to be based in Poland

• Experience with testing in an Azure environment (Synapse, Databricks)
• Familiarity with tools such as SSIS and Jira, and test automation frameworks
