Data Scientist - Campaign Analytics Support and Automation

WHAT IS THE ROLE?

We are a nimble team of analysts, architects, and data engineers, all with a strong analytical background, working in the landscape of media analytics. Our goal is to provide the best solutions to internal stakeholders all around the globe, driving process improvements and automations. You will play a pivotal role in our team, helping build pipelines, applying statistical techniques to solve problems, and driving sustainable automation and code development. In collaboration with your teammates, you will provide support and insights to internal partners, ensuring processes are sustainable to drive growth efficiently.

Primary Role Responsibilities
  • Write and review code in collaboration with other team members to process structured and unstructured (client) data using advanced analytical solutions
  • Use and fit different mathematical and econometric models for explanatory purposes that lead to better decisions, and translate these model outcomes into actionable insights and business value.
  • Create high-quality data visualizations for internal and external purposes
  • Present and explain technical solutions or results in a stakeholder-friendly way.
  • Make key (technical) decisions in a project and take accountability for these decisions.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with others (e.g. other team members, project or tech leads) to discuss complex data-driven and code-related matters
Qualifications
  • Several years of experience working as a Data Scientist or in a related role
  • Master’s degree in Econometrics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Applied Statistics or a related quantitative field
  • Spoken and written proficiency in English
  • Several years of programming experience in Python
  • Experience with or exposure to data analysis tools and libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, pandas, matplotlib etc.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git
  • A keen eye for data properties and how to sense-check them
  • Aptitude for problem solving, also when confronted with imperfect data or knowledge
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to work with globally dispersed project teams
  • Excellent organization, analytical, interpersonal, and influencing skills
  • Open to constructive feedback and readiness to adapt
  • Familiarity with at least one of the cloud providers (e.g. AWS) is a plus
  • Experience with Docker is a plus
  • Experience with Airflow is a plus
  • Familiarity with the media and marketing industry is a plus
  • Familiarity with Bayesian statistics is a plus
