Job Description:

Citi’s Business Continuity Management (CBCM) organization within Enterprise Resiliency (ER) is seeking an experienced professional to serve as a Continuity of Business (CoB) Data Recovery Testing Coordinator. The CoB Data Recovery Testing Coordinator is responsible for working with sector application teams and CTI stakeholders to support the Data Recovery Program.

The CoB Data Recovery Coordinator collaborates with technology teams to ensure data recovery assessments are validated, tests and tabletops are planned, documented, and executed for critical business technology, in accordance with COB policies and standards. Manages escalations of potential issues and tracks remediations to completion. Working off hours and weekends may be required to support activities.

Responsibilities:
  1. Act as a team representative within CBCM, providing support and oversight within the Data Recovery Program.
  2. Partner with CBCM leadership and central teams to maintain a calendar of activities to ensure timely completion of policy requirements.
  3. Provide guidance and coordination for the entire recovery process before, during, and after testing cycles.
  4. Work closely with senior business sponsors and promote consensus on decisions that are right for the organization.
  5. Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a hands-on approach.
  6. Gather information internally and externally to guide business recommendations for audits and regulatory reviews.
  7. Advise technology businesses on CBCM strategy, policy requirements, and best practices.
  8. Monitor organizational controls, track risks, and escalate issues to Risk & Control Leads. Recommend CAPs and REs.
  9. Promote Business Continuity training and awareness.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, business, or related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Financial Services, Banking, IT, DR, or similar environments.
  • Expertise in database frameworks, OS recovery procedures, file structures, database servers, and IT security best practices.
  • 3 years managing multiple projects and staff.
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Desired: Business Continuity certifications such as CBCP, MBCP, BCI.
Education:

Bachelor’s/University degree; Master’s degree preferred.
