Job summary

SNI sp. z o.o. is seeking a Data Platform Support & ETL Engineer in Wrocław to provide 2nd/3rd-line data platform support and analytics. You will optimize ETL processes, troubleshoot data issues, and maintain Power BI dashboards for proactive monitoring.

The role requires strong SQL/SSIS skills, data analysis experience, and effective communication to document findings and coordinate with stakeholders in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Advanced SQL skills with focus on query optimization and tuning.
• Hands-on ETL development, package maintenance, and troubleshooting with SSIS.
• Experience in L2/L3 data platform support and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to create and maintain Power BI and SQL Server dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical product support and data analysis for AutoETL/CVMS users; address queries on tables and data usage.
• Perform 2nd- and 3rd-line troubleshooting: incident triage, RCA, fixes, validation and documentation.
• Maintain and upgrade Power BI and SQL Server dashboards to catch data anomalies early.
• Assist DPO with data extraction, data modeling, and KPI reporting to track product usage.
• Implement database and ETL fixes in SQL Server and SSIS to improve performance and reliability.
• Create documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-sharing materials for internal forums.

For one of our clients based in Poland, we are currently looking for a Data Platform Support & ETL Engineer.

Job details:

• Contract Duration: 6 months with extension
• Hybrid work from Wrocław

Scope:

• Provide technical product support and data analysis for AutoETL/CVMS users, addressing queries on tables, data definitions, and usage while driving issues to complete resolution.
• Perform 2nd and 3rd-line technical troubleshooting, including incident triage, root-cause analysis (RCA), fix implementation, validation, and system documentation.
• Drive proactive monitoring by maintaining and upgrading Power BI and SQL Server dashboards to catch data anomalies before end-user impact occurs.
• Support product analytics by assisting the DPO with data extraction, data modeling, and operationalizing KPI reporting to track product usage.
• Implement database and ETL fixes in SQL Server and SSIS components to enhance overall system performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Create documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-sharing materials, presenting technical updates and learnings to key internal forums.

Skills:

• Advanced SQL skills with a strong focus on query optimization and database tuning.
• Hands-on ETL development, package maintenance, and troubleshooting expertise using SSIS.
• Solid background in L2/L3 application or data platform support and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to work with data visualization and monitoring tools such as Power BI and SQL Server dashboards.
