Job summary

Scandit Poland is seeking a Data Operations Quality Manager to steward operational quality for our advanced visual intelligence products. You will work with the Data Team, product managers, and engineering to shape processes, annotation workflows, and quality metrics to ensure reliable product performance and a transparent view for decision-makers.

You will own quality within the data team, design QC frameworks, and develop SOPs while balancing accuracy with resource use.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a quality role on production-grade deployment.
• Strong analytical and statistical thinking.
• Experience designing and improving end-to-end workflows and SOPs.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented working style with data, images, and human annotations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven track record of influencing without formal authority in cross-functional environments.
• Comfort with ambiguity, evolving products, and balancing rigor with speed.

Responsibilities

• Own operational quality within the data team.
• Establish and maintain a single source of truth on quality metrics for all stakeholders.
• Design and maintain annotation and QC frameworks, including failure categories and review processes.
• Establish real-world performance measurement, balancing accuracy and resources.
• Monitor and document the performance of external suppliers and contractors.
• Create and evolve operational playbooks and SOPs to make sure processes are efficient and effective.
• Support product, operations, engineering, and customer success with clear quality narratives and explain quality implications of decisions.
