Job summary

SafetyHeads is seeking a seasoned Data Governance Lead to define enterprise-wide governance frameworks, operating models and roadmaps across multiple entities. You will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to improve data quality, ownership and trust.

You will assess maturity, establish data ownership and accountability, and develop standards, glossaries and lineage practices. Remote role with onboarding in Riyadh.

Qualifications

• Assess existing data governance maturity, identifying gaps in ownership, policies, processes and controls.
• Define enterprise data governance frameworks, operating models, decision rights and escalation processes.
• Establish data ownership, stewardship responsibilities and accountability across priority data domains.
• Develop data quality standards, KPIs, metadata, business glossary and data lineage practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance assessments and define a prioritized implementation roadmap.
• Work with business and technology stakeholders to implement governance improvements across multiple entities.
• Establish governance operating models and escalation processes to ensure accountability.
• Deliver prioritized roadmap and enable enterprise-wide data governance alignment.

Job description

The project focuses on defining and strengthening enterprise-wide Data Governance for a complex, multi-entity organization. The role involves establishing governance frameworks, operating models and processes to improve data quality, ownership, consistency and trust across business units. You will work directly with business and technology stakeholders, leading governance assessments and defining a prioritized implementation roadmap.
