Join the Data & Governance Team

Join the Data & Governance Team, part of PepsiCo's A&M Management Capability, at the intersection of Finance, Data, and Marketing. If you enjoy solving data challenges, building new capabilities, and helping shape the future of how global Advertising & Marketing (A&M) investments are managed, measured, and optimized, this is the role for you.

The Data & Governance team plays a critical role in enabling A&M Excellence initiatives across PepsiCo by providing the data foundations, reporting capabilities, governance processes, and automation solutions that power better decision-making. The role partners closely with global teams, markets, Finance, and Marketing stakeholders to lead assigned workstreams and deliver annual strategic programs and ad-hoc business priorities.

In this role, you will own the development and scaling of assigned capabilities and workstreams across A&M Reporting, Taxonomy, A&M Hub, and data governance solutions. You will translate business needs into actionable insights, reporting solutions, and process improvements, while driving delivery, resolving data and process challenges, and advancing PepsiCo's transformation agenda through automation and innovative ways of working. You will apply and further develop strong expertise in PepsiCo's global A&M ecosystem and make a direct impact on how marketing investments are measured, managed, and optimized across key markets worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal teams, markets, and global stakeholders to lead end-to-end data readiness, including data collection, validation, governance, reporting, and project execution.
  • Own and deliver executive-level and ad-hoc business requests by connecting data and insights across multiple sources to develop actionable recommendations.
Data Management, Validation & Governance
  • Own data collection, validation, cleansing, and consolidation across multiple marketing, media, and finance data sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and readiness for business use.
  • Lead assigned KPI tracking, governance processes, recurring reporting cycles, and ad-hoc business requests, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of data issues.
  • Assess data readiness, define data requirements, make recommendations on data suitability, and lead the integration of datasets into A&M Hub and other reporting solutions to establish a trusted source of truth.
Continuous Improvement, Automation & AI
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate data, reporting, and business processes, building clear recommendations and implementation plans.
  • Lead collaboration with business and technical teams to design, test, implement, and scale digital solutions, including enhancements to A&M Hub capabilities and reporting tools.
  • Drive the adoption of AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, data quality, reporting, and insight generation, while ensuring solutions address defined business needs.
Project Management
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of assigned data-related projects and workstreams, making day-to-day delivery decisions, managing dependencies, and ensuring clear timelines, milestones, ownership, and outcomes.
  • Lead project kick-offs, meetings, and workshops related to data collection, governance, reporting, analytics, and solution delivery, while influencing and aligning stakeholders across different functions and levels.
  • Provide direction and coordinate delivery across Data & Governance team members, ensuring alignment of deliverables, effective issue resolution, and consistent application of best practices.
  • Contribute to building internal capabilities, tools, and change management approaches that embed continuous productivity and lasting impact.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in Data Governance, Business Intelligence, Marketing Analytics, Finance Analytics, Consulting, or a related field, including experience independently leading complex projects or workstreams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, validate, connect, and interpret complex data from multiple sources.
  • Experience working with reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar), with the ability to define reporting requirements.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Think-Cell, with the ability to analyze data and present insights in a clear, structured, and executive-ready format.
  • Experience leading data-related projects and workstreams, including stakeholder management, defining data requirements, managing dependencies, resolving issues, and translating finance and business data into A&M Excellence reporting needs.
  • Strong communication skills and fluent English, with confidence leading discussions, aligning priorities, and driving decisions with global stakeholders.
  • Curiosity and passion for continuous improvement, automation, AI, and digital solutions that drive business value.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage ambiguity, solve problems proactively, take accountability for outcomes, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity, able to navigate incomplete information, identify solutions, prioritize effectively, and drive progress under tight timelines.
  • Leading the design, implementation, and scaling of data, reporting, automation, and AI solutions, including A&M Hub and AI Insights, while building internal capability in a dynamically changing transformational environment.
