Job summary

Elitmind is seeking a Data & Business Consultant (Controlling) to bridge business needs with data-driven solutions. The role offers 100% remote or hybrid work, with offices in Warsaw and Kraków as optional.

You will translate finance and controlling requirements into technical specs, collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams, and influence analytics projects through data modeling, Power BI, and SQL.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Business/System Analysis.
• Finance-related or controlling projects.
• Proficient in SQL, data analysis, and data modeling.
• Experience working with stakeholders and delivery/engineering teams.
• Ability to define and document business requirements, system specifications, and solution designs.
• Knowledge of architectural models, data flows, and business process diagrams.
• Familiarity with Power BI and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Identify business needs to deliver value for customers.
• Gather and document functional and non-functional requirements.
• Build and manage project backlogs: Epics, User Stories.
• Analyze data sources and design data models.
• Create solution concepts and prototypes (incl. Power BI mockups).
• Verify and optimize existing business processes.
• Prepare test plans and support testing activities.
• Develop clear analytical and technical documentation.
• Prepare and lead presentations for various audiences.
• Work directly with clients to design BI and data-driven business applications.
• Collaborate closely with Solution Architects on conceptual design.
• Work with Developers to ensure the delivery meets business goals.
• Support the Product Owner or take a coordinating role within Agile/SCRUM.
