Job summary

Cisco's Webex Engineering Group is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for Partner Hub Analytics, enabling insights for partners. You will work with Spark, Flink, Pinot and Iceberg, collaborating with software, product, and data teams to support both real-time and batch processing.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years of professional data engineering or software engineering experience.
Foundational knowledge of data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Flink) and distributed systems.
Willingness to learn new technologies quickly.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines for streaming and batch processing.
Develop and optimize data workflows using Apache Pinot, Apache Iceberg, Flink, and Spark.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle with design discussions and reviews.
Improve data pipeline performance, reliability, and observability, resolving issues.
Collaborate with software engineers, product management, and data teams.
Contribute to incident resolution and postmortems for production issues.
Commit to continuous learning, data quality, and operational excellence.
