emagine in Poland seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design and optimize data pipelines for AML detection in capital markets. You will implement detection logic, scoring components, and rule frameworks, while ensuring high-quality engineering across code and data workflows.

The role supports a hybrid work model in Gdańsk/Gdynia/Łódź/Warsaw, with a 12-month project length and English/Polish project language. Start ASAP, B2B engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong programming in Python and Java.
• Advanced experience with Apache Spark (PySpark) and SQL for large-scale data processing.
• Hands-on experience in distributed compute platforms and on-premise clusters.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Bamboo/Jenkins and Bitbucket.
• Quantexa Scala experience.
• Experience in Agile teams with ability to work independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with fast adaptation.
• Bonus: Capital Markets knowledge and experience with AML or financial crime detection systems.
