Job summary

Accenture Poland is recruiting for a data engineering role within the AI & Data Practice. You will design, build, and operate scalable ELT/ETL pipelines from multiple data sources and develop orchestration workflows with Airflow.

Build models in Snowflake and Databricks, and improve data quality through validation and monitoring. You will collaborate with analytics engineers, data scientists, product teams, and software engineers, contributing to engineering standards and using AI coding tools

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills: complex queries, CTEs, window functions, performance optimization.
• Experience with Python for data engineering and automation.
• Experience with modern cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse).
• Experience building pipelines using Apache Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
• Experience operating production data systems with focus on reliability and maintainability.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using data from APIs, databases, event streams, and third‑party systems.
• Develop and maintain orchestration workflows in Apache Airflow with monitoring, observability, retries, and alerting.
• Build and optimize data models in Snowflake and Databricks that power analytics, reporting, and AI applications.
• Improve data quality through validation, testing, monitoring, and lineage.
• Investigate production incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement long‑term fixes.
• Collaborate with analytics engineers, data scientists, product teams, and software engineers.
• Contribute to engineering standards (testing, Git workflows, CI/CD, documentation, code reviews).
• Leverage AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Codex, Cursor) to accelerate development while maintaining quality.
