Job summary

Capgemini Polska is seeking a Data Engineer to join a global marketing data platform initiative for a leading FMCG client. You will design and implement scalable data solutions, enabling advanced analytics and data-driven marketing decisions.

The role emphasizes collaboration in an international environment, hands-on work with Databricks, Spark and Python, and a hybrid work model. Strong communication in English is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Data Engineering experience with Python, Spark and Databricks.
• Strong SQL skills and PySpark experience for large datasets.
• Proven track record designing and maintaining data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Experience with cloud data platforms; familiarity with Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
• Analytical, problem-solving and collaborative skills; professional English (B2/C1).

Your role

As a Data Engineer, you will join a team responsible for developing and enhancing a global marketing data platform for one of the world's leading FMCG companies. You will play a key role in building scalable data solutions that enable advanced analytics and data-driven marketing decisions.

Your tasks

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data processing solutions in cloud environments.
• Build, optimize, and support ETL pipelines, as well as data integration and transformation processes to ensure high-quality, reliable, and consistent data for analytics and reporting platforms.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, troubleshoot production issues, support end users, and deliver new functionalities using technologies such as Databricks, Spark, and Python.

Your profile

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with strong hands‑on expertise in Python, Spark, and Databricks.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and practical experience using PySpark to process and transform large‑scale datasets.
• Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data integration solutions.
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms; familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, international environment.
• Professional English proficiency (B2/C1 level).
