Job summary

Quento Technologies S.A. is seeking a Data Center Technician to join our onsite team in Poland. The role focuses on commissioning and decommissioning data center infrastructure, Rack & Stack, cabling, and asset management.

You will handle hardware lifecycle, capacity planning, and collaboration with third-party contractors, while maintaining precise documentation and complying with procedures. English proficiency and a valid B category license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years IT experience with 2+ years in data center operations.
• Hands-on with server and network device installation, Rack & Stack.
• Good knowledge of rack layouts, PDUs, structured cabling, labeling.
• Basic networking - LAN, switches, connectivity.
• Experience with change management processes.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to travel between locations and valid Category B license.
• Very good command of English (minimum B2).

Responsibilities

• Perform commissioning and decommissioning for data center infrastructure.
• Execute Rack & Stack, cabling, and initial power-on testing.
• Maintain data center cabling, routing, labeling, and asset records.
• Oversee hardware lifecycle, inventory, and asset preparation.
• Support capacity planning and coordination of third-party contractors.
• Maintain documentation and update maintenance systems.
• Implement changes to data center infrastructure per procedures.
