Job summary

DCG Poland is seeking a Business / Data Analyst to align business requirements with data models and system flows. You will translate needs into technical designs, define API contracts, and support contract-first API definition with producers, especially for the safekeeping system.

You will map data, establish canonical data models, and create clear rules with example requests and responses, coordinating requirements across quarterly and PI planning. English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in business analysis or data analysis
• Strong experience in data analysis, data modelling and data mapping
• Ability to translate business rules into concrete examples and acceptance criteria
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across business, consumer and source-system domains
• Knowledge of custody positions, subpositions, reservations and corporate actions
• Experience with data formats and transformation technologies (XML, XSLT, JSON, AVRO)
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

• Analyse and align business requirements, data models, system flows and dependencies
• Translate business needs into technical designs, delivery tasks and acceptance criteria
• Design and document services and API contracts within and around the STO Domain API
• Support a contract-first approach to API definition in cooperation with producers
• Define data mappings, transformation rules and the canonical data model
• Establish clear business rules with valid request and response examples
• Coordinate requirements during quarterly and PI planning
• Collaborate across business, consumer and source-system teams to ensure consistent implementation
