Job summary

Craftware Sp. z o.o. in Warszawa seeks a skilled data scientist/scientific programmer to develop robust algorithms that extract disease-relevant features from diverse sensor data collected during remote testing.

You will evaluate feature reliability, assess group differences, and collaborate with external vendors on data quality. The candidate will contribute to scientific abstracts and manuscripts, present results internally, and work within a hybrid team environment leveraging Python, HPC

Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, MatPlotLib) and development workflows (Jupyter notebooks, virtual environments).
  • Strong coding practices focused on robustness and reproducibility, including git, unit testing, peer code reviews, and agile methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of group comparisons, correlation analysis, and linear mixed models. Able to handle real-world data, missing or erroneous values, and coordinate with other teams.
  • Familiarity with distributed, high-performance computing environments, ETL workflows, and the Unix command line.
  • Excellent English skills and the ability to thrive within a hybrid, dynamic team environment.
  • Expertise in time series analysis, signal processing, image processing, and natural language processing is a plus.
